What's NewMonofilament - This new wig construction allows you to enjoy a much more comfortable, ligher fit than you'd get from a traditional wig. Monofilament actually refers to the material that hair strands are sewn onto. This material is thin and gauze-like (allowing more air ventilation) and nearly transparent (allowing your scalp color to show through for a more natural look). Each strand is hand-knotted to the monofilament. These wonderful new wigs are specially designed for those with severe or total hair loss.
Other new wigs are specially constructed with a thinner, more resilient stretch material that actually molds to the shape of your head. Your wig will be so comfortable, you'll think it was custom-made just for you. These new wigs are also lighter and more breathable, leaving your scalp feeling cooler.
